CEDERBERG
BUKETTRAUBE 2004
With
13% alcohol, 27 grams sugar per liter and a natural high acid of
7,8, this wine, drinks like a sweet dream. The grapes had 8 hours
skin contact after it was pressed, after which it settled and fermentation
stopped. The result is complete natural sugar that gives the wine
a bracing fresh finish on the palate.
The
2004 Bukettraube has a definite semi-sweet finish, verging on dry.
It combines exotic and very delicate floral and fruit salad aromas,
with a hint of honey and dried peaches and ripe Muscat. It is a
great partner to foods with pronounced flavours like curries, spiced
poultry and blue cheese. With qualities like these it is no wonder
that it is definitely the most successful SA semi-sweet at the moment.
