Shiraz 2015

A medium bodied Shiraz filled with red cherries and a hint of white pepper spice. Well integrated oak with a juicy lingering finish on the palate. Pair with South African game, cheeses such as a young cheddar or gruyere or indulge by pairing with a rich and creamy curry.

Vinification: Cold maceration for 4 days, inoculate yeast, pump over every 6 hours, went through malolactic fermentation in French oak barrels, at 25°C for days 9 days, barrel maturation 3rd fill 30%, 4th fill 30% 225l French oak barrels, 15 months, medium toast - medium and tight grain.
