Introducing The Cederberg Summer Sauvignon Series Competition
We will be running an exciting competition whereby you stand a chance to win a Sauvignon Blanc Summer Getaway to the Cederberg. David Nieuwoudt and his dynamic winemaking team will personally host the winner, treating them to all things Sauvignon Blanc.
The competition will run from 01 December 2022 to 31 January 2023, after which we will announce the lucky winner of our Sauvignon Blanc-inspired experience on 01 February 2023.

Cederberg Sauvignon Blanc
The iconic Cederberg Sauvignon Blanc is grown in our high-altitude, virus-free mountain vineyards in the Cederberg. Enjoyed locally and around the globe for its refreshing, fruity flavour, clean finish and notes of gooseberry and lime citrus, this wine is perfect for summer parties, sunsets, and family gatherings.
Ghost Corner Sauvignon Blanc, The Bowline, and Wild Ferment
The Ghost Corner Sauvignon Blanc, The Bowline and Wild Ferment are crafted from grapes grown in the southernmost vineyards in South Africa along the rugged Agulhas coastline. Maritime influences play a crucial role in creating the intense concentration and distinct flavours that you will find in these wines.
Unearthing the Sauvignon Blanc Summer Getaway
On arrival at the farm, you will be received by head winemaker Jean Nel for a cellar tour and wine tasting. You will then check into a river-facing cottage at Sanddrif holiday resort, where our collection of Sauvignon Blancs will be chilling in the fridge.
The following day, you will spend time in the vineyards with viticulturist Dirk Debryn before enjoying a scrumptious Sauvignon-inspired lunch with David. As the afternoon tips into the evening, winemaker Thinus Botha will collect you for the ultimate sundowner experience. You can then return to your accommodation and enjoy the rest of your slow farm stay at a leisurely pace.
