Cederberg Sauvignon Blanc 2026
This multi-dimensional Sauvignon Blanc shows aromas of fig leaf and blackcurrant
notes supported by tropical flavours of crushed pineapple. The palate is fresh and alive
with lemon sorbet and green apple ending in a refreshing but gentle acidity. A delicious, aromatic Sauvignon Blanc from these high-altitude vineyards.
Five Generations Chenin Blanc 2025
Pale straw with a youthful green hue, the wine opens with aromas of orange peel and
lime zest, layered with baked apple pie, roasted nuts and subtle spice. The palate is
generous yet beautifully poised, combining impressive texture with vibrant natural
acidity. Notes of ginger preserve add complexity, leading to a long, creamy finish with
lingering citrus freshness. Serve lightly chilled rather than ice cold to appreciate its
layered aromatics and depth.
Ghost Corner Semillon 2024
The 2024 vintage shows a pale straw colour with green flashes and visible
viscosity. The nose is vivid and energetic – green nettle and lime zest leap from
the glass, followed by subtle hints of beeswax. A silky entry leads to textural
depth from lees contact and the lanolin oiliness so typical of the variety. This is a
Semillon of remarkable complexity, balancing citrus purity with palate richness,
and finishing on crisp green apple precision. Already drinking beautifully, it will
gain further elegance and nuance with time in bottle.
Cederberg Merlot/Shiraz 2023
The Cederberg Merlot-Shiraz 2023 is a dark, densely coloured blend that brings
together the plushness of Merlot with the spice of Shiraz in seamless harmony.
The nose reveals ripe blackberries, mulberries and red cherries with hints of
pepper and soft oak. On the palate, a compôte of dark and red berries unfolds—
juicy mulberry, ripe plum and a tangy burst of pomegranate bring lift and
vibrancy. Supple tannins and gentle spice round out the lingering finish. Polished
yet unpretentious, this is a generous, go-to red.
Cederberg Cabernet Sauvignon 2021
The Cederberg Cabernet Sauvignon has long been one of the estate’s benchmark
wines, and the 2023 vintage quietly reinforces its reputation. Aromas of ripe blackberries, cassis and mulberry are layered with subtle cedar and hints of dark spice, reflecting the elegance and restraint that define this high-altitude Cabernet. The palate is beautifully poised, with pure, vibrant fruit supported by fine, powdery tannins and
refreshing natural acidity. Balanced and refined, the wine finishes with impressive
length and precision. Decant for two to three hours before serving to reveal its full
complexity.
Waitrose Syrah 2022
This is a lighter style of Syrah with an abundance of red fruit such as plums and
raspberries, and peppery liquorice. The soft, silky tannins and fruit-driven style
make it perfect as a fashionable ‘wine by the glass’ option.
