As autumn arrives there’s a distinct chill in the air and the mornings are decidedly darker, but there’s no need to feel gloomy as we’ve rounded up a collection of wines perfect for the changing season and our new club branding.
Our new look honours the Nieuwoudt legacy, with this season’s box celebrating what defines Cederberg Wines: a deep sense of community. From the people who craft each bottle to our commitment to conservation and sustainability, connection is at the heart of everything we do.
Open your autumn box to find three whites – two deliciously different Chenin Blancs, both grown in the Cederberg mountains, and a Sauvignon Blanc-Semillon blend from the cool Cape South Coast. The trio of reds features a Grenache from the Piekenierskloof, and a Cabernet Sauvignon and a Shiraz from the high-altitude Cederberg vineyards.
We hope this stellar selection eases your transition into autumn.
Cheers from the Cederberg team!

Cederberg Chenin Blanc 2024
This cool-climate Chenin Blanc leads with a fragrant nose of winter melon, stone fruit and broad tropical aromas. This delicious style of Chenin Blanc is refreshing with all the abundance of fruit shared on the palate ending with a crisp, clean, lingering golden delicious apple finish. Be mindful not to serve it too cold so that the broad aromas of this wine may shine though.

Five Generations Chenin Blanc 2023
The Five Generations Chenin Blanc 2023 leads with a rich, opulent nose of stone fruit and heady white blossoms. The full mouthfeel coats every crevice of your mouth with flavours including white peach, ginger preserve, sweet ripe summer melon and quince. The palate shows the opulence perceived on the nose with a touch of baker’s spice to add to its intrigue. This exceptional wine creates a lasting presence on the palate, leaving an impression long after the last sip.

Ghost Corner Bowline 2024
The Bowline 2024, the flagship in the Ghost Corner stable, follows in the style of the 2023 vintage, deviating slightly with more intrigue and compelling notes of green nettles, coastal scrub and a dusty herbaceousness. This wine conjures up images of sea spray over fynbos, moist river pebbles and the sense that this wine is ozone captured in a bottle. It is a complex wine, as intriguing as it is delicious.

Longaví Old Ways Grenache 2022
Well-known for winegrowing in the south of Chile, winemaker Julio Bouchon is also notable for breathing new life into ancestral vines. His love for South Africa and its wines resulted in a partnership with his friend, David Nieuwoudt, who shares his philosophy and sustainable method of dry farming when it comes to producing wines here.
