Keep a spring in your step and a twinkle in your eye with a collection of wines selected by our winemaking team to celebrate this season of renewal.
Open your spring box and you will find a Chenin from our mountain vineyards in the Cederberg, and two very different Sauvignon Blancs from our maritime vineyards in Elim. We traverse our way back to the mountains for a Merlot-Shiraz blend, zip down to the coast for a cool-climate Syrah and then over the ocean to Chile for the last wine in our line-up, a Cinsault that is even more delicious drunk slightly chilled.
Time to light those fires, open a bottle of wine and get braaing.
Cheers from the Cederberg team!

Cederberg Chenin Blanc 2024
This cool-climate Chenin Blanc renders a refreshing, mouth filling style of wine that leaps from the glass with green melon, cut Granny Smith apple, juicy pear, granadilla (passion fruit) and fresh herbs. Deliciously refreshing on the palate with all the fruit nuances kept in check by the classic Chenin acidity, this wine slides down weightlessly, making reaching for another sip so easy.

Ghost Corner Sauvignon Blanc 2023
An explosive nose of green nettles, green asparagus and pink grapefruit citrus with some dusty fig leaf and blackcurrant aromas creates excitement anticipation of what is to follow. The palate does not disappoint – a delicious carry through of the expressive nose creates a broad, flavour-intensive palate, ending with a lemon zest mouthwatering finish. The influence of the Cape Agulhas terroir is apparent in the salty/briny final lingering aftertaste.

Ghost Corner Wild Ferment Sauvignon Blanc 2023
The nose is captivating with lemon curd and grapefruit marmalade taking centre stage. The palate is forthcoming with a kaleidoscope of flavours including crème brûlée, slight honeyed notes and a lemon/lime citrus freshness.

Cederberg Merlot-Shiraz 2022
Benefiting from diverse soil types, unpolluted air and free-flowing, crystal-clear water, Cederberg Wines is situated at 1 036 metres above sea level in a virus-free growing area. Consequently, 250 kilometres from Cape Town you will find the highest wine farm in the Western Cape. The climate is described as cool continental. In summer, expect a dramatic temperature drop at night; and, in winter, snow-capped mountains.

Ghost Corner Syrah 2022
The Ghost Corner range was inspired by the extreme coastal area around Cape Agulhas near Elim, known as ‘Spookdraai’, where many ships have been wrecked. Folklore has it that the ghosts of sailors who perished through the years can be seen wandering the wild waters. These wines are as intriguing and extreme as the story of their origin at the southernmost tip of the Cape.

Longaví Cinsault 2021/2022
Crafted from a premium selected vineyard parcel in the Itata Valley. An elegant wine with red fruit notes and wild herbs. Soft tannins and good acidity lead to a satisfying finish.
