As spring arrives, it’s time to venture outdoors again and look forward to bright new beginnings.
An inspired selection of wines by the Cederberg team will help put you in the right frame of mind to
greet the new season with gusto!

Open your spring box and inside you’ll find a Bukettraube, a Merlot-Shiraz and a Cabernet Sauvignon
from our high-altitude vineyards in the Cederberg mountains, as well as a Sauvignon Blanc, a
Semillon and a Syrah from our cool-climate coastal vineyards.

Now it’s time to choose and open a bottle, take out the chopping board and start taking advantage
of all the bountiful, fresh produce that’s available now.

Cederberg Bukettraube 2025

The Cederberg Bukettraube has an inviting aromatic nose that opens with lifted florals, followed by golden delicious apple and gentle baker’s spice. A kaleidoscope of melon, kiwi, and stone fruit weaves through a delicate richness, enhanced by the opulence of jasmine blossom. Exotic florals and fruit envelop the palate, offering gentle sweetness before tapering to a pure, lingering finish.

Ghost Corner Sauvignon Blanc 2024

An explosive nose of green nettles, green asparagus and pink grapefruit citrus with some dusty fig leaf and blackcurrant aromas creates excitement anticipation of what is to follow. The palate does not disappoint – a delicious carry through of the expressive nose creates a broad, flavour-intensive palate, ending with a lemon zest mouthwatering finish. The influence of the Cape Agulhas terroir is apparent in the salty/briny final lingering aftertaste.

Ghost Corner Semillon 2024

The Ghost Corner Semillon displays a pale straw hue with a nose that opens up to a youthful expression of lemon/lime citrus and subtle hints of crushed pineapple, green melon and a touch of fig leaf dustiness. The wine reveals viscosity and texture on the palate due to lees contact, balancing the palate weight with a refreshingly crisp
green apple finish. Best enjoyed after a year or two in the bottle to allow the wine to achieve its full expression and poise.

Cederberg Merlot/Shiraz 2023

The Cederberg Merlot-Shiraz 2023 is a dark, densely coloured blend that brings together the plushness of Merlot with the spice of Shiraz in seamless harmony. The nose reveals ripe blackberries, mulberries and red cherries with hints of pepper and soft oak. On the palate, a compôte of dark and red berries unfolds—juicy mulberry, ripe plum and a tangy burst of pomegranate bring lift and vibrancy. Supple tannins and gentle spice round out the lingering finish. Polished yet unpretentious, this is a generous, go-to red.

Cederberg Cabernet Sauvignon 2020

Deep ruby-garnet in colour, the 2022 Cabernet opens with lifted aromatics of plums, blackcurrant, ripe cherry and a hint of violet framed by subtle spice. The palate is vivid and poised, revealing pure fruit expression, silky yet structured tannins, and refreshing acidity. Layers of dark berry and gentle oak unfold with clarity and finesse. A polished, cool-climate Cabernet with the balance to age gracefully—yet already irresistibly drinkable. A persuasive wine that could convert even the most hesitant Cabernet drinker.

Ghost Corner Syrah 2023

Showing a ruby-garnet colour, deceptively light for this powerful Syrah. The nose is forthcoming with spicy green peppercorns, red plums and a savoury smoky aroma reminiscent of Spanish chorizo sausage. Earthy notes of raw beetroot and dusty pomegranate support the savoury peppery and plum flavours, creating a wine that is
as seductive as it is intriguing and lithe as it moves from the nose through the palate to the lingering finish.
